Sarah L. Campbell

University Counsel–Compliance

Sarah joined BYU’s Office of the General Counsel in 2012, to primarily provide legal support to the compliance programs at BYU and its sister institutions. She advises university committees on federal, state, and local laws, she also manages student research associates in creating tools and resources to enhance campus–wide compliance with the law. Sarah earned a B.A. in communications from BYU and a J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School, where she served as editor–in–chief of the BYU Journal of Public Law. After graduating from law school in 2008, Sarah practiced as an associate with the litigation group at Clyde Snow & Sessions in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has held an adjunct faculty position at BYU's law school and also worked as an extern for the LDS Church's Office of the General Counsel in Frankfurt, Germany. Sarah is licensed to practice law in Utah and California.
