Christian joined the Office of the General Counsel in 2010. He graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and received his J.D., magna cum laude, in 2003 from the J. Reuben Clark Law School. Following law school, Christian practiced intellectual property law in Orange County, California, at Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear, LLP, where he was a partner prior to joining the Office of the General Counsel. Christian is licensed to practice in California and Utah and is a registered U.S. patent attorney.
