Josh joined the Office of General Counsel in 2017. He received a B.A. in English Language from Brigham Young University in 2006, and a J.D. cum laude from The University of Notre Dame Law School in 2013. He also holds an M.A. with merit in Religion in Contemporary Society from King's College London, his dissertation receiving distinction (highest) honors. Prior to working for BYU, he clerked for Judge Clark Waddoups of the United States District Court for the District of Utah and was an associate in the First Amendment and Religious Organizations Practice Group at Kirton McConkie in Salt Lake City, Utah. Josh is licensed to practice law in Utah and Idaho.
