Sarah joined the Office of the General Counsel in 2021. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors with University Honors in English Teaching from BYU. She later received a Masters of Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Austin and a JD from Stanford Law School, where she was a managing editor for Stanford Law and Policy Review. Sarah clerked for Judge Jay S. Bybee on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and she taught for two years as an academic fellow at the J. Reuben Clark Law School. Her private practice experience includes being an associate at Hogan Lovells in Washington, DC, and part-time work for multiple law firms, most recently The Appellate Group in Utah and Zobrist Law Group in Charlottesville, Virginia. Sarah is licensed to practice law in Utah, DC, and New York.
